The Montblanc Writers Edition William Shakespeare Ballpoint Pen 114349 is unused and comes complete with its original box and papers.
Released in 2016 to mark 400 years since Shakespeare's death, this edition draws its design from the Globe Theatre and the playwright's own likeness. The barrel is white precious resin finished with a guilloche pattern, paired with an octagonal black precious resin cap, a shape inspired by the Globe's structure. The cone ring is decorated with elements from his most significant works.
The clip is gold plated, and the cone ring carries an engraved crest referencing elements from his most significant works. Fittings throughout are gold plated with distinctive decoration, and the pen carries an individual serial number engraved on the cap.
The pen writes via a twist mechanism and takes a standard Montblanc ballpoint refill, factory installed in black.
Limited to 9,000 pieces worldwide, this edition is sold out and no longer available through any authorised Montblanc retailer.

Pen Anatomy
Finished with Montblanc's signature white star emblem. The cap screws securely onto the section to protect the nib when the pen is not in use.
Platinum-plated and sprung for secure attachment to a pocket or notebook. Finished to the same exacting standard as the rest of the pen.
The engraved ring at the base of the cap. On genuine Montblanc pieces this carries the brand name and is a key authentication point.
Crafted from precious resin, the barrel houses the ink reservoir or converter. Its weight and balance are central to the Montblanc writing experience.
The grip area where you hold the pen. Slightly tapered for comfort and control during extended writing.
The heart of the fountain pen. Montblanc nibs are crafted from 14k or 18k gold and available from Extra Fine to Double Broad. The nib defines the entire writing character of the pen.

Every pen we list has been physically inspected by hand. We check the filling mechanism, nib condition, body and cap for wear, and verify authenticity before grading. Nothing is listed sight unseen.
We use five grades - Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, and Fair. Every listing states the grade clearly and discloses any wear or issues in full. No surprises when your pen arrives.
